Description

SOSEN 3.6kW Off-Grid Solar Inverter

SOSEN 3.6kW Off-Grid Inverter in Kenya is designed for solar power systems that operate with battery storage without depending on the electricity grid as their primary power source. It is suitable for residential solar installations, small shops, offices and other applications with appropriately sized electrical loads.

By combining solar energy conversion with battery charging capabilities, the inverter helps users make better use of available solar power and maintain electricity supply when supported by the installed solar and battery system.

Key Features

1. 3.6kW rated output – Designed for compatible household and small-business electrical loads within the inverter’s operating limits.
2. Off-grid operation – Suitable for solar installations designed to operate independently of the utility grid.
3. Solar charging capability – Supports charging from a solar PV array within the manufacturer’s specified limits.
4. Battery integration – Works with compatible battery systems, subject to the exact model’s voltage and communication requirements.
5. Residential applications – Suitable for selected lighting, entertainment, office equipment and other appropriately sized loads.
6. Energy independence – Helps reduce reliance on conventional electricity sources when installed with a correctly sized solar array and battery bank.

Recommended Applications

• Residential solar power systems
• Small shops and retail premises
• Offices and small commercial installations
• Remote properties with limited grid access
• Solar systems requiring battery storage

System Design and Compatibility

The solar panel capacity, battery voltage, charging current and maximum PV input must be confirmed against the exact inverter model before installation. The inverter should be selected based on the customer’s load profile, starting currents and expected backup duration.
